If you have visited the Chapter Two Bookstore in the Cascade Public Library, then you know there are some wonderful books available at very affordable prices. But, because store space is limited, we can only make a small portion of our inventory available there at any given time. The e-Store Catalogue gives buyers access to hundreds of additional titles.
HERE'S HOW TO USE THE E-BOOKSTORE
The eStore catalogue is updated monthly and members are notified before anyone else if they have not opted out of our mailings.
- Find the Books(s) You Want: If you don’t see anything interesting this time, please check again next month.
- Place a Hold on the Book(s): Just send an email to cascadefriends47@gmail.com and provide (a) your name; (b) your phone number; and (c) the titles & authors of the books you want to reserve. We will notify you within 24 hours whether the book has been put on hold for you or if it has already been claimed.
- Pick Up & Pay: We will hold the books for you for two weeks. To pick up your book, come to the Cascade Library during operating hours (9:30-8 M-Th, 9:30-6 F, 9:30-5 Sa) and find your books in the glass cabinet to the left as you enter the Chapter II bookstore. Pay for them with cash, check or credit card at the main checkout counter. If you have a change of heart once you see the book, you are not obligated to buy it. But, please give it to a librarian at the front counter on your way out. If you put a hold on a book, please do your best to pick it up in a timely way.
- Give Us Feedback: We have other categories of books that don't make it into every issue of the catalogue. So, if you’re more interested in sports, religion, biography, self-help, business, diet/exercise, home/garden, travel, reference or something else, let us know.
